David Allan Carlson joined us on August 9th, 2008 at 11:40 am. David is 7 lbs 7.5 oz, and is 21 inches long.
Nicole came through the labor splendidly and both baby and mother are in great health! David does have a cleft lip and cleft palate. We will be meeting with doctors next week to figure out next steps. In the meantime, please enjoy these pictures. More will be posted tomorrow!

Um if you're thinking of changing your blog title (though I still LOVE ABC Baby even if it isn't his initials) Joe wants to put his vote in for... you guessed it... DAC Attack.... clever, huh?
We are still waiting to see more pictures of our unexpected little boy! I got some printed from the blog, but want to see more of his little toes, fingers, arms and legs! Kids are excited!!!! Savannah wants to make sure that Elias and David don't gang up on her and "bomb her with water bombs" someday!
