A "Snowed-In" Christmas!

After leaving for Valley City early and beating the storm before it hit the Cities, we ended up having a snow- and wind-filled Christmas in North Dakota! Good thing we had plenty of food and fun to keep us occupied during the blizzard! Here is a photo of our car on Saturday - the drifts were even higher on Sunday morning before Pete, Rob, Rachelle and my Dad dug out the cars!
The boys had a great time opening gifts and playing with all of their new toys. At least when they weren't fighting over the new toys.... They also had fun with their "uncle" Windsor!

Time with Cousins

David's had a chance to spend some good time with both families over the last few weeks. He's been able to play with all his cousins.....

David and Dylan played a duet for Grandma Peggy over Thanksgiving. David watches everything that Dylan does and tries to be involved as much as he can with whatever his big cousin is doing!

David and Owen played with toys on the floor! Owen is half David's age......but almost the same size! Where did these blondies come from????

Elias pushed David on his new trike that he got for Christmas from Grandma Linda. David had such a blast "riding" on the tricycle! We'll need to get a helmet for him by spring!

Savannah showed David how to use his new puzzle shape ball. Every time he put a shape in the right place, he looked around to make sure everyone was clapping for him!
